Jordan the Twin Daddy is 30!?

It was a Sunday afternoon and my wife kindly asked if I could take her and the babies down to Big Corona beach to cuddle and watch the sunset...OF COURSE I was on board with the idea, what a beautiful night to spend with my beautiful wife and kids! We arrived along with the masses of other smart people who also had the same idea of enjoying the sunset and unseasonably warm weather. The sun drifted into the sea while Jamie tornadoed around the car sweeping up pacies, blankies, beanies, and who knows what else. The sky then started to turn all sorts of cosmic colors as we started walking, I felt as if we were on Venus or Mars. Our little, twin astronauts were stirring up the usual flurry of Ooos and Aaaas from the passer bys, sitting so tenderly in the stroller their Mema bought for them, ITS AWESOME!

Once we landed on the lunar sand the sky still hadn't settled down, the orangy red colors resembled the fire pit flames roaring in the distance. I noticed one large group assembled together with balloons and other fan fare, I then mumbled to jamie, "Wow what an amazing evening for a party!" I thought to myself how could someone be so lucky to pull off such an event in the winter time! Well, the lucky guy was ME!!! The Party was for Me! Wow was I Surprised.

My wife is full of faith, she embodies childlike faith, she truly believes that God can do miracles and it's inspiring. This surprise party was a testiment of her trust in the true Weatherman, God provided the nicest night of the year with temps not dipping below 75 and a warm offshore breeze keeping the fire smoke blowing in one direction. It was a magical night and what I expected to be an intament night with just my immediate family turned into a something much larger and grander in scale! My wife knows how to make me feel special and loved and I thank God for her! Material things have no value compared to the priceless gift of family, friends and love! Thank You Jamie and thank you all who shared this special day with us...and most importantly thank you God for giving me so many blessings!
